This page is for people who did not sign up for HypeLead but whose work contact may be in our database, for example because one of our customers looked for companies like yours. The full rules are in our Privacy Policy, sections 6, 17 and 18.
Who is responsible
HypeDigitaly s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 17665655, Velká Hradební 2800/54, 400 01 Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic, runs HypeLead. We are the controller of finding and enriching company and contact data, and of passing it to our customers.
If one of our customers contacted you, that customer is the controller of its own outreach to you. Its privacy notice is linked in its email, and you can exercise your rights about that outreach with the customer too.
What we hold
Data about companies and about people in their work role:
- name, job title and company,
- work email and work phone, if available,
- a link to a public profile, for example on LinkedIn,
- country and city,
- public information about the company.
We do not collect special categories of data, for example about health, religion or political opinions.
Where it comes from
- From Prospeo, a company and contact database supplier. When we look up a contact there, Prospeo keeps the details of the lookup as its own data, as an independent controller.
- From public company registers.
- From public websites, mainly companies’ own websites, including web searches through Serper.
- From Google Maps business listings, which we obtain through Serper.
- From LinkedIn, only if a customer switches it on: through the LinkedIn account that customer connected, the Service reads the public posts and comments of a person the customer saved or a Research mode search found, and the people who commented on or reacted to that customer’s own posts. This is the customer’s processing; we do it for that customer as its processor. Section 6.9 of the Privacy Policy explains what we keep and for how long.
- In Research mode, our AI agent reads public websites at a customer’s request to find the people who hold certain roles. For each person we record the address of the page and the date it was read.
- From our own derivation: our system can guess the pattern of a work email address from the company domain and check with the mail server whether the address exists.
Why we have it
So that our customers can find and contact companies that fit their offer. Our legal basis is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our balancing test is being completed. You can object at any time (Art. 21 GDPR).
How long we keep the data is described in sections 6.7 and 16 of the Privacy Policy.
Your rights
You have the right:
- of access to your data, including where we got it,
- to have inaccurate data corrected,
- to erasure,
- to restriction of processing,
- to object to processing based on legitimate interest, at any time; an objection to direct marketing always succeeds.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, https://uoou.gov.cz) or with the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work.
How to object or ask
Write to info@hypedigitaly.ai. You do not need an account. If we cannot tell from your message that the request comes from you, we may ask you to confirm it from the email address the request is about. We reply within one month. For complex or numerous requests we may extend this by two further months; we will tell you within the first month, with the reason.
What each step does:
- Unsubscribe link. The link in an email from one of our customers stops that sender only. It takes effect at once.
- LinkedIn. Messages sent through HypeLead on LinkedIn have no unsubscribe link. Tell the sender, or write to us.
- Block for every customer. If you object to us, a member of our staff blocks your email address across the whole Service: no customer can email you at that address through HypeLead. The block works by email address, so tell us every address you use. To keep the block working, we keep your email address on our blocking list.
- Erasure. When your data is erased from a customer’s workspace, the Service keeps two things in that workspace on purpose, so that this customer cannot upload you and contact you again: a hash of your identifiers made with a secret key, and an unsubscribe entry with your address. Section 6.7 of the Privacy Policy explains this.
