Cookie Notice

Draft Version 2026-10-02.3 Effective

Draft: under legal review. Not yet binding. A lawyer has not approved this text yet.

Effective: 2 October 2026

1. What cookies are and what this notice covers

1.1 Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. The browser’s local storage (local storage and session storage) works in a similar way. In this notice we call them all “cookies”.

1.2 This notice covers the HypeLead website (the main website at hypelead.ai and the waitlist page at waitlist.hypelead.ai) and the HypeLead app (app.hypelead.ai), run by HypeDigitaly s.r.o., company ID (IČO) 17665655, registered office Velká Hradební 2800/54, 400 01 Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic.

1.3 How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

2. Categories

2.1 Necessary. The website or app does not work without them, for example for login or to store your choice in the cookie banner. We do not need consent for them and they cannot be switched off.

2.2 Functional. They remember a choice you made yourself, for example the language or dark appearance. We do not need consent for them because you ask for them.

2.3 Analytics. Google Analytics 4 tells us how many people visit the website and what they do there. It also records the approximate location at city level and device details. On the main website it loads only after your consent. On the waitlist page (waitlist.hypelead.ai) it loads as soon as the page opens, unless you switched it off before, there or on the main website (see 5.6). You can switch it off at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.

2.4 Company-level visits. Our own script, which would only find out which company a visit came from. It is not active yet and this category does not appear in the banner. It loads only after your consent.

2.5 Marketing. The Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) shows us how many people came from our ads and how many of them joined the waitlist. Automatic advanced matching is switched on for the pixel in Meta’s settings. The pixel can therefore turn contact details you type into a form (for example your email or phone number) into a hash in your browser and send that hash to Meta. On the main website it loads only after you allow the Marketing category in the cookie banner. On the waitlist page (waitlist.hypelead.ai) it loads as soon as the page opens, unless you switched it off before, there or on the main website (see 5.6). You can switch it off at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Once we switch on Google Ads measurement, the Marketing category on the main website will cover it too: with your consent, Google Analytics may then store Google advertising cookies and measure how many sign-ups our Google ads brought. On the waitlist page we do not store Google advertising cookies, and a choice made there never allows them on the main website.

3. Cookies on the website

On the main website, before you make a choice in the cookie banner, the website loads nothing except necessary and functional cookies. The waitlist page has no cookie banner: Analytics and Marketing cookies load there as soon as the page opens, unless you switched them off there before in “Cookie settings”.

Name Category Set by Purpose Lifetime
hl_consent Necessary Us Stores your cookie banner choice: allowed categories, the tools the choice covers, the version of this notice and the time; set for the whole hypelead.ai domain (see 5.6) 12 months
hl_lang Functional Us Remembers the chosen language 12 months
Appearance choice (local storage) Functional Us Remembers light or dark appearance Until you clear it
_ga Analytics Google Distinguishes visitors; on the main website set only after consent, on the waitlist page unless you switch it off 14 months
_ga_<id> Analytics Google Keeps the visit state; on the main website set only after consent, on the waitlist page unless you switch it off 14 months
_fbp Marketing Meta Distinguishes visitors to measure ads on Facebook and Instagram; on the main website set only after consent, on the waitlist page unless you switch Marketing off 90 days
_fbc Marketing Meta Remembers that you came from a Meta ad; set only after an ad click, on the main website only after consent, on the waitlist page unless you switch Marketing off 90 days
Meta cookies on facebook.com (for example fr) Marketing Meta Meta may read them if you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram; not once you switch Marketing off As set by Meta, usually 90 days
Meta Pixel entries in local storage (lastExternalReferrer, lastExternalReferrerTime, multiFbc) Marketing Meta The Meta Pixel script remembers where you came to the website from and Meta ad click identifiers; stored under the same conditions as _fbp Until you switch Marketing off: we then delete them at once on that page, and on the other site on your next visit there
gcl* (for example _gcl_au) Marketing Google Links a visit to a click on a Google ad; only on the main website, only after Marketing consent, and only if Google sets them once Google Ads measurement is switched on 90 days
Company-level visit script Company-level visits Us Stores nothing in the browser; the server keeps the IP address for at most 24 hours; not active yet Nothing is stored

3.1 The _fbp and _fbc cookies are set for the whole hypelead.ai domain, so your browser also sends them to our other addresses ending in hypelead.ai (for example the app). The app does not read or use them. Once we switch this on, when you join the waitlist with Marketing on, the page sends their values to our server, which passes them to Meta (see section 9.7 of the Privacy Policy). The previous version of HypeLead at legacy.hypelead.ai also uses the Meta Pixel on its own public pages, only after you allow marketing cookies there, and may then read them.

3.2 Booking a call. We only link to the Cal.com booking service. It therefore stores no cookies on our website. Once you move to Cal.com, its policies apply.

3.3 Payments. No payments happen on the website, so there are no Stripe cookies on it. Payment happens in the app.

4. Cookies in the app

The app uses only necessary and functional cookies, so it does not ask for consent.

Name Category Set by Purpose Lifetime
hl_session Necessary Us Short-lived login for live updates in the app A few minutes
hl_refresh Necessary Us Keeps you logged in Up to 30 days
hl_guest Necessary Us Session of the onboarding guide before sign-up 7 days
hl_oauth_state Necessary Us Secure sign-in with Google 10 minutes
hl_oauth_request Necessary Us Links your consent to connect an external tool to your browser 10 minutes
__stripe_mid Necessary Stripe Fraud prevention during payment; set only at the payment step 1 year
__stripe_sid Necessary Stripe Fraud prevention during a single payment; set only at the payment step 30 minutes

4.1 The app also stores in the browser’s local storage your settings (language, appearance, panel widths, pinned columns, dismissed hints, view filters), the open workspace, the return point after connecting an account, and import progress. While sign-up is being verified, it stores your sign-up email in session storage; this is deleted when you close the tab. None of this is sent to third parties.

5. How to change your choice

5.1 On your first visit to the main website, a cookie banner appears at the bottom of the page with two buttons, “Accept all” and “Reject”, and a “Settings” link where you can allow individual categories. The “Accept all” button is the largest, but rejecting is just as easy: one click, right in the banner. Scrolling the page or browsing on is not consent. The waitlist page shows no banner (see section 3).

5.2 You can change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page or on this page.

5.3 When you withdraw consent for a category or switch it off, we delete the cookies of that category that the website set (for Google Analytics, the _ga cookies; for the Meta Pixel, the _fbp and _fbc cookies), and they no longer load from the next page on. Once we switch this on, switching Marketing off will also delete the Google advertising cookies gcl* and the Meta Pixel entries in the browser’s local storage; until then you can delete them in your browser settings.

5.4 After 12 months, or when we materially change this notice, we will ask you again on the main website.

5.5 You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, the website or app may not work.

5.6 Your choice applies to both hypelead.ai and waitlist.hypelead.ai: the hl_consent cookie is set for the whole hypelead.ai domain, and a choice you make on one of these sites is used on the other too. A rejection holds on both sites: “Reject” on the main website also stops Analytics and Marketing on the waitlist page. The Marketing category on the main website also covers Google advertising measurement, which the waitlist page does not have, so a choice made on the waitlist page never allows it: if you allowed anything there, the main website asks you again.

6. Tracking in emails

6.1 Open and click tracking in our customers’ campaigns is not a cookie on our website. It is off by default and is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

7.1 Each version of this notice has an effective date. Adding a new third-party cookie is a material change, after which we will ask for your consent again on the main website.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time.
